We love London. We think it's one of the most exciting cities on earth. But we believe that the things that make London great - its diversity, its tolerance, its local communities, its spirit of enterprise, even its people's freedom - are under threat.
We're concerned by the rise of the racist BNP in East London. We're frightened by Labour's repeated assaults on civil liberties. We worry that when we reach our parents' age, our environment will be ruined beyond repair. We think that London's students are screwed twice - by tuition fees and by the highest rents in the country. And we know that for many young workers, buying a home of their own is no more than a dream.
We want to change this. We want to build a liberal future for London.

LDYS London is a network of young people and students living
in London, promoting liberal and social democratic values through
social events and campaigns. We're part of the Liberal Democrat Youth
and Students - the liveliest and most democratic youth party in the country.
